Photoshop Brushes

 

  1. Download this zipped folder of sample brushes. Unzip the folder on the desktop.

  2. In Photoshop, create a New Document. The Default Photoshop Size is fine. Press OK.


  3. Open your Layers (F7). Create a New Layer (CTRL+Shift+N). Name it "Brush 1"


  4. Press "B" for your Paintbrush. Open your Brushes Panel (F5) and your Color Panel (F6)


  5. Minimize Photoshop to view the Desktop (Windows+D). Double click on one of the Brushes you downloaded. It will load into Photoshop's Brushes Panel:

  6. Look in the Brushes Panel, scroll down and you'll see the new brushes you just loaded:


  7. Experiment wih the Brushes. Try to keep separate Layers for each style of Brush work. This makes it easier to make changes.
